Kapparis Firemans Beach

Around a 7-8 minute walk from the Villa, Fireman’s Beach is one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress, and that’s exactly why it does. It’s a small, quiet stretch of coastline that feels almost tucked away from the rest of the world, like a hidden chapter in a travel book you didn’t expect to love so much. Located on the eastern side of Cyprus, it has this cozy, unassuming atmosphere that draws you in slowly. It’s not loud, it’s not crowded, and it’s not packed with souvenir stands or beach parties. Instead, it offers a kind of peace that’s hard to come by in today’s always-on world.

The sand is soft and golden, warm under your feet and clean enough to throw down a towel and just lie back without a second thought. The water is calm and clear, that kind of glassy turquoise that makes you want to dive in even if you didn’t plan to swim. It’s shallow near the shore, which makes it ideal for families with little ones, and it gradually deepens, perfect for a more relaxed swim. You’ll often see people floating lazily or wading just far enough to feel weightless. The beach is framed by rocky outcrops that give it a touch of wild beauty and offer little pockets of shade or quiet corners to explore.

It’s not a big beach, and that’s part of the charm. You don’t come here expecting a long walk along the shore or rows and rows of beach bars. What you do get is just enough—sunbeds and umbrellas, a nearby café to grab something cold, and the sound of the sea as the main soundtrack of your day. The people who come here are mostly locals or those who’ve been coming for years, drawn by the simplicity and the feeling of being somewhere that hasn’t been overtaken by mass tourism. You get the sense that this is a beach with a rhythm of its own.

Even on warmer days, it rarely feels packed. You can find a quiet spot, settle in, and just let time move however it wants to. There’s a certain honesty to Fireman’s Beach—no big frills, no huge attractions, just sun, sand, sea, and the occasional breeze carrying the scent of salt through the air. In the evenings, the light softens, and the sky puts on a show as the sun dips behind the coastline. It’s a great place to end a lazy day with your feet still sandy and your skin warm from the sun.

Fireman’s Beach doesn’t try to be a postcard. It just is what it is—simple, beautiful, and quietly memorable. Whether you’re there for a few hours or a full day, it leaves you with that easy, contented feeling that stays long after you’ve brushed the sand off your feet and walked away.
